Buckles are available in two variations, Galvanised or Phosphated. Galvanised Buckles are ideally suited for Cord Strapping. The Galvanised surface ensures that the buckle remains rust-free and protects it from the elements meaning that they can be used in all types of weather. Phosphated Buckles are used in conjunction with Woven Strapping. The phosphate coating gives the buckle a slightly roughened surface allowing for a higher tension and load to be applied in turn allowing for a higher grip and prevention of slippage during transit over a Galvanised Buckle. They are extremely durable and strong combined with protection from the elements.
