Woven Strapping & Cord Strapping
Woven Strapping sets itself apart from other types of strapping by being made by binding several fibres together to create a very durable strap. It handles extremely heavy loads without breaking thanks to the weaved pattern that sits within. The strapping lends itself to be a great choice for oddly shaped items, fragile items and strapping products which will undertake movement in transit.
Cord Strapping is an inexpensive product for more general use. There are two types, Composite Cord
Strapping and Bonded (Non-Woven) Cord Strapping. Both are used on less exhaustive loads than Woven Strapping but still make a good choice where they need to be used in wet environments, whilst also being resistant to abrasion and most chemicals.
Galvanised Buckles
Galvanised Buckles are ideally suited for Cord Strapping. The Galvanised surface ensures that the buckle remains rust-free and protects it from the elements meaning that they can be used in all types of weather.
They are available in various widths from 13mm to 32mm
Phosphated Buckles
Phosphated Buckles are used in conjunction with Woven Strapping. The phosphate coating gives the buckle a slightly roughened surface allowing for a higher tension and load to be applied in turn allowing for a higher grip and prevention of slippage during transit over a Galvanised Buckle. They are extremely durable and strong combined with protection from the elements.
